Winter Wind Storm in Seattle

We have power, which sets us apart from one million other Seattle residents. The storm was very loud last night and this morning I think we determined what was making the metal crashing sound for a few hours: a large section of our neighbor's metal roof was torn off...

DSC00003.JPG I'm pretty sure the most serious damage around the Mews was a broken planter:

DSC00001.JPG But I did find a few roofing shingles that look like they came from one of our houses. I don't think anyone is missing a large chunk of roof, so it can wait to be fixed in the next days.

Regan's school was cancelled for the third day this year.
