About
My name is Seth Falcon and this is my personal blog. Here you’ll find posts about my travels, my life in Seattle, computer programming, and technology in general.
I currently work as a Senior Software Engineer at Evri (formerly Hypertext Solutions), a Seattle startup company using natural language processing technology to build a data graph of the web.
I used to work at “the hutch” in the field of cancer research where I supervised the programmers in the Gentleman Lab and spent most of my time managing the Bioconductor project, writing R, C, and Python, and attempting to implement novel methods that will lead to insights in computational biology.
I’m still involved with the R project and maintain a small number of R packages including RSQLite, weaver, and pkgDepTools.
